Childrens’ Workshops

One month / 4 classes ages 7-12 Saturdays 9:30 - 11:00 am Next session begins Sat. April 5.

       “Drawing on the Imagination” by art instructor            Mary Ann Varley

Lesson 1 - Line drawing and a trip to the zoo drawing animals from pictures with imaginary backgrounds. Colouring with crayon and layering colour using watercolour and markers.

Lesson 2 - Collage and picture drawing in the city. Drawing outer space and futuristic places. Overlapping and shading to create 3-D effects. Using pencil, pen, rulers, markers, glue and scissors

Lesson 3 - Funny Faces - Self portraits (bring a hat) Drawing dancers and sports action figures using pastels and markers

Lesson 4 - Landscape painting using Acrylic and painting on canvas

$150.00   $10.00 materials fee. All materials will be provided
